with a 15-piece band + guests

THE STONE PONY
REMEMBER JONES, the bombastic and soul-stirring vocalist and entertainer presents on Black Friday, November 24th no less, a reprisal of last years “packed to the walls” Stone Pony performance “back to BACK TO BLACK”, a live performance and tribute to the ENTIRE classic AMY WINEHOUSE album “Back to Black”, with an arranged 15 piece band and chorus.
Featuring 17 songs including the hit singles “Rehab”, “Tears Dry On Their Own”, “You Know I’m No Good”, “Love is a Losing Game”, and the title track, “Back to Black”, Remember Jones and company recreates the Grammy award-winning and critically acclaimed 2006 album with a horn section, strings, a backing choir and other guests. This is a ONE OF A KIND EVENT celebrating the music that will not be heard “live and lush” anywhere else. The band includes musicians from some of the most acclaimed funk and soul bands in New York, Philadelphia, and Asbury Park’s music scenes. Remember Jones will play an opening set as he did last year featuring material from his original recordings!
***After an over-sold-out show at Asbury Park’s new House of Independents, Live for Live Music said “Remember Jones hit, stacked with the area’s top musicians from New York, Philly, and Asbury. RJ’s performance was one for the ages, as they continue to wow audiences with their spot on performances, while making these songs their own, which in itself is an incredible feat. Each song was given the sincerity and passion needed, while he held the audience in the palm of his hand, complete with crowd surfing, and screaming fans singing every word. By the time the band kicked into the popular “Valerie” the crowd was at a fever pitch frenzy, begging for more, and RJ gave them just that, clocking in a near 2 hour plus performance that will certainly be remembered (no pun intended).”
